Death Valley National Park feels like being on a different planet. In the daytime, the colors are amazing – there are deep red rocks, huge golden sand dunes, and a massive white salt flat that’s almost too bright to look at. The salt flat is really unique – it’s this huge, flat area that looks like snow but feels completely different when you walk on it. It’s like stepping on crunchy salt, and it’s really cool in a strange way. If you like seeing landscapes that are totally different from what you’re used to, you should definitely visit Death Valley.

Definitely a must-see! We went there in early summer. Despite the heat, we got to see a lot. The views were really unique, gorgeous, and felt like a whole other world. There aren’t many facilities in the park – just a couple of convenience stores, but they’re pretty expensive. We had a great time with a day visit and staying overnight.
For those bringing dogs: The weather is extremely hot, so make sure to keep your dogs safe. Give them plenty of water and protect their paws.
Picnic spots: There are some picnic areas available, but many don’t have shade. They’re mostly used during certain seasons, except the ones with shade.

Wow! The views were amazing. Driving through the park was awesome. We experienced 120-degree heat, which was intense. There were some really nice hikes and trails. I suggest checking your tires and making sure they don’t get too hot. Highly recommended!

This National Park is the hottest place on earth. A tip: drive from the north to the south entrance and finish at Furnace Creek for an amazing journey. Remember to have enough gas in your car. Don’t miss the Artist’s Palette and the Star Wars filming locations from the first movie. Even at 8 am, it’s around 100 degrees, so be ready!

This is a wonderful spot to explore in the winter. The views are amazing (check out the photos). There are plenty of places to see, and you can easily spend a whole day here. You might even need two days to fully enjoy it. It’s a less than 2.5-hour drive from Las Vegas. If you’re in Las Vegas without a car, consider renting one to experience this hidden gem.

Wow, it’s truly amazing! Don’t miss out on Death Valley just because you think the desert is dull. It’s the lowest point in North America, the driest spot on the continent, and holds the record for being the hottest place on Earth! There are many trails and the hills and mountains showcase stunning color patterns. Visit between November and February to avoid the extreme heat. Ride your bike on the long, surprisingly not-so-flat roads, hike the interesting trails, and explore the visitor center and historical spots in the park. Remember to fill up your gas tank before entering the park, as gas prices at Furnace Creek can be much higher.
