Zion National Park is one of my favorite places to visit. There’s so much to do and see here. The views are absolutely amazing and breathtaking. Every time we come back, we find a new hike to try out.
The park changes every year due to the runoff. The rock formations shift and change. Everything here is always in motion.
Many people assume it’s always scorching hot in the park, but there’s plenty of shade everywhere. As you go deeper into the canyon, it actually gets cooler. So even on hot days, it’s quite enjoyable – and I’m from Alaska.
My kids always have a blast here. They love playing on the rocks and hopping around. The water hikes are a great way to keep them cool and entertained.

Zion National Park is so beautiful! I enjoyed every moment there. The must-do hikes are the Narrows and Angels Landing. The scenic drive is also incredibly stunning. The Narrows hike takes you through the river, which is a truly unique experience.

Zion National Park is the best! It’s incredibly beautiful and offers so many activities. You need to see it for yourself; words can’t capture its beauty.
Here are some tips:
- Drive the Zion scenic route at least once! It’s the most stunning road I’ve ever been on.
- Avoid weekends if you can. It’s less crowded on weekdays.
- Take your time on the trails. Enjoy the views and don’t rush. Some trails are short but amazing.
- The food at Zion Lodge is decent for lunch if you don’t have other options.
- Plan ahead before you go. It’ll help you decide what to do and make the most of the bus shuttle.

I really love this national park too! The views are just breathtaking, even if you’re just driving through. During the off season, you can drive the scenic Canyon road yourself, but they also have shuttles that take you around during other times. The shuttles are convenient and run often. You can also walk between stops for amazing views and angles you wouldn’t get otherwise.
My top two hikes were the narrows and the Scout lookout trail. Every turn is so amazingly beautiful.

Absolutely amazing! There’s not much else to say, every view is incredible.
The shuttle bus is really convenient, it comes around every 5 minutes.
Definitely try to do Angels Landing if you can get a permit.

Absolutely amazing! We spent a whole day at Zion National Park and enjoyed every moment. Make sure to arrive early for good parking and stay hydrated. The shuttle system works well and is fast. There are good dining options at the lodge. We did the Narrows hike and loved every bit of it. If you try this, make sure to have excellent water shoes for walking in the water and small rocks. Some parts can be deep, so expect to get a bit wet if you venture further upstream like we did. Keep an eye on the weather forecast, as heavy rains can be risky. This is a fantastic place to visit and spend a couple of days. We’ll definitely return to explore more of this wonderful place. If it’s not already, it should definitely be on your bucket list.
